Fatal Crash on Highway 401 Leaves One Dead, Two Injured
Police Seek Witnesses in Two-Vehicle Collision
Thames Centre, ON - A fatal crash on Highway 401 in Thames Centre has left one person dead and two others injured.
According to eyewitnesses, the collision occurred around 3:30 am on Tuesday near Ingersoll. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, and one of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two injured individuals were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the lead-up to the crash to contact them.
Westbound lanes of Highway 401 in the area of Ingersoll have been closed as police investigate. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
